Vimeo On Demand is new feature to Vimeo, which allows film-makers to upload films that viewers can download for a fee or rent.
Alaska is currently overrun with "reality" TV shows that generate drama where there is none, focus on misleading information and miss most opportunities to tell a genuine stories. These productions are typically well financed and Alaska has seen a new industry spring up, but most of the script writing and technical work is done out of state.
It is my hope that Mjölnir Films and Photography can continue to tell unique stories of and from Alaska. But in order for that to happen we need our viewers to support us.
We've made the rental and download fee of Hunting For Monsters as affordable as Vimeo allows.
Please support Alaskan film-makers, musicians and graphic artists.

Synopsis:
Lake Iliamna, Alaska's largest lake, is home to many native communities, the worlds largest sockeye salmon run, potential site of the controversial Pebble Mine and the elusive Lake Monster - Illie. On a hot mid-July, Bjørn and Brent were deposited to the far shore of Cook Inlet in a landing craft cargo ship and began their human powered journey through Iliamna country to Bristol Bay, hoping to catch a glimpse of the illusive creature and slice of Alaska where monsters can still roam free.
